Crust is made up of the negative thoughts, emotions and actions of others and the destructive things we tell ourselves which undermine the truth of who we are - powerful, competent, and loving people, to name a few true characteristics.

We are often weighed down by the accumulation of beliefs that we think are the truth of us. However, these false beliefs have simply crusted over the real truth of who we are. Like the crust of the earth, which contains many valuable gems and minerals, it is time to extract the sand and gravel and reveal the shining gem that is buried within.

Meet Dr. Pat Baccili

Pat was born in NYC and lived on the East Coast until 1992 when a corporate downsizing turned her life “downside up.” She intuitively knew that she was at a crossroads in her life and remembers asking herself the question, “Do I sit here and blame the company, my boss and God for the situation or do I try something else?” Deciding on that ‘something else’ put Pat on the path to doing the work she loves. That work is to help people and organizations remove limiting beliefs and explore the world of unlimited potential

As Pat tells it, in 1993 she picked herself up, packed a moving truck and drove across the country to Seattle, one of the places she had always wanted to live, and began to do the things that she always wanted to do. One of those things was to go back to school for her Ph.D., a dream that she had since age 23. In 1994 she did just that!

How do we Crust Bust?

Creatively! Crust Busting™ is an engaging learning experience that taps into the five senses. In the process you will discover the culprit behind crust deposits, the dreaded "Crust Ball." You will learn how to block "Crust Balls," remove deeply layered crust, and sweep away the residual "Crust Dust" by using a process called Crust Busting™. You will meet Crusty and Crustine, who will share experiences, challenges, and insights about how they have been able to remove years of accumulated crust.

Dr. Pat Baccili has championed challenging organizational initiatives for 20+ years as a consultant and senior human resource manager. She has been coaching employees at all levels for over 15 years. Pat has worked with many individuals and organizations to help them change grow and become competitive in today's global market.

Pat's experience spans both the public and private sectors of business. Her qualifications include over 12 years of senior-level experience at AT&T and its subsidiary, Bellcore, where she played a key role in planning and implementing the company's 1982 divestiture. As one of the first of seven employees to join Bellcore, Pat and her team mates experienced a once in a lifetime career event to start up a major telecommunications business. As Director of Human Resources for the Organizational/Program Development Division, she developed and managed a consolidated plan to shift the 9,000-employee BellCore organization from a research-focused culture to one that could thrive in a competitive, applied business environment.

Pat's educational credentials include an Ph.D. in I/O Psychology at Claremont Graduate University, M.A. in Organization Psychology from Columbia University, an M.A. in Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, and a B.S. in Business Management from the College of St. Elizabeth. Pat has designed and taught courses in performance management and measurement as an Adjunct Professor. Pat is also a certified NTL facilitator, Team Spirit Facilitator and Keirsey Assessment, Project Management and Training Facilitator.
